Delete your account
How to ask us to delete your VitoCoin account, what happens to your balance, and which records the law requires us to keep.
- Withdraw or send your remaining balance first (Cash out, Send), cancel your open orders and let pending deposits and withdrawals finish.
- Open Settings → Account → Delete account, tap Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm and tap Request deletion.
- Cannot sign in? E-mail privacy@vitocoin.com from the e-mail address of your account.
- We confirm by e-mail within 30 days; until we start, you can cancel the request in Settings. Your personal data is then deleted, except the records the law requires us to keep.
Good to know
- Transaction records are kept 7 years, as our Privacy Policy says; the full list is on the account deletion page.
- Your on-chain VITO wallet is non-custodial: deleting your account does not delete it. Keep your 12-word recovery phrase to keep using it.
- We never ask for your password, PIN, 2FA code or recovery phrase to delete an account.
